Main Instruction Of Zen Meditation

During Zen Meditation, you would usually sit in the lotus position (sitting with their legs crossed). With eyes half shut open.

In Zazen Meditation the focus of your attention is inward. Some Zen Meditation Teachers will tell you this is achieved by counting breath, usually from one to 10, each time you exhale. Other Zen Practitioners will tell you there is no counting is involved.

Zen meditation is about placing your awareness on the presence of mind, instead of focusing on a specific object as in mindfulness. Zen meditation develops an increased general awareness.
